I got a new refractor to test. A 90/600 triplet. It is a very solid but compact refractor that in my intention should be used an all-round telescope.
I tested immediately with white light and Cak full disks. Here are the results:
Thanks to the lower focal length it only takes me two images to have a full disk.
I also tried a closeup using the barlow 2.25 (always both in CaK and white light):
And finally I tried with the Powermate x5 in White Light:
So far I’m happy with the first results. As a first light is a good start. Tonight I hope to be able to do a star test and check if optics are as good as they should.
