As anticipated in my previous post, yesterday I received the Celestron Omni 120 XLT refractor.

Is a solid 120/1000 refractor (f8.3) that I mounted in parallel with the Vixen A80M.

Yesterday I wasn’t able to test it because it was a rainy day but today I spent most of the time imaging with it.

Unfortunately there’s not much to image in white light and the only really interesting sunspot group is 1422.

I also imaged the small 1420.

For both I decided to use the x5 Powermate even if the seeing conditions and the wind suggested not to go with it.

I’m happy with the results so far and it’s a good start.
