This is an image (in colour and black and white) of the 1408 sunspot taken the 27/01/12 but processed later.

For post processing I used a “new” technique named “Iterative Smart Sharpen” that helps in getting better details and skips the wavelet processing.

You can see the details inside and around the sunspot and the granulation quality.
