Tried something “new”… a picture in white light. I didn’t try it since a very long time. But I decided to give it a try. I used my very fist telescope (a Celestron Astromaster 130MQ) a 130/650 newton with an home made Astrosolar mask. I wanted to try a comparison between H-Alpha and white light. The resulting image is nice.
I have to came back to do something in white light. Probably using something better that the old newton. I must say that the newton probably wasn’t even that collimated đŸ˜€ I took the white light image without any planning.
I also did my “usual” almost full mosaic and a couple of very nice prominences images. Probably those two are the best one I did since now so I’m very proud of them. I still have ghost images đŸ˜¦
Hardware: Coronado PST + DMK41 (for H-Alpha) – Celestron Astromaster 130 (with Astrosolar filter) + DMK41 for white light.
